BURUNDANGA

   An eclectic ensemble that fuses a variety of Rhythm & Roots from Latin America (Afro/Brazilian, Afro/Cuban Afro/Peruvian), with a big dose of contemporary grooves and rhythms: Funk, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Samba, SalSoul, etc, resulting in a unique, explosive sound full of raw energy.

All the members come from different corners of the Globe.  Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Angola, USA & U.K.

   Burundanga has performed at the Sage Gateshead (Sound 11), York Peace Festival, Movimientos - London 2012, Alnwick Olympic Torch Relay, Alnwick Gardens & VAMOS! Festival 2012
